The realism of Da Vinci's High Renaissance style is evident his famous "The Last Supper 1498" which presents Jesus's last meal with his apostles in rich colours and lifelike detail. Christ is rendered in a red and blue robe with a woman possibly Mary Magdelene beside him in a pale green dress. The apostles are in varying robes of red, blue, and tan and there is a sense of joyous occasion to this scene. The horizontal view of the table and supper gives an encompassing view of the supper which demonstrates Da Vinci's mastery of composition and arrangement.
