The Church at Auvers is an oil painting by Dutch post-impressionist master Vincent van Gogh currently on display at the Musée d'Orsay in Paris, France. It was completed in June 1890. The Church at Auvers is reminiscent of scenes from his Nuenen period, as are other canvases like The Town Hall at Auvers and sketches of little buildings with thatched roofs. In his final weeks in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, a certain nostalgia for the north was already evident. He wrote in a letter a few weeks before leaving, "While I was ill, I nevertheless did some little canvases from memory which you will see later, memories of the North,"
